Nicholas J. Hohman, Vice President
Nick’s industry career began in 2007 as an order fulfillment specialist for Waveband Communications, LLC. In 2009 he transitioned to sales where he has flourished while increasing company revenues by over 200%. Mr. Hohman has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore, and an AA in Business from Baltimore County Community College. During free time, Nick enjoys playing cards, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Raymond Hohman, Consultant
Raymond works as a consultant for the Company. Mr. Hohman joined the Army after High School - Active Duty was June 1960 to June 1963 - 809th Engr Bn (Okinawa & Thailand) & 511th Panel Bridge Co (Fort Campbell, KY). After his military service, he used the GI BILL to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore. After passing the Certified Public Accountant exam, Raymond practiced as a CPA, while earning his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Loyola College (Baltimore). During college, Ray worked full time in the accounting field and subsequently advanced in the accounting field from clerk to Controller - Auditor - Vice President, President, and CEO of various companies.
Dora Mitchell – Accounting
Dora is a resident of Carroll County, MD. She joined Waveband Communications in June 2017. She leads Waveband’s Accounting and Finance Department. Dora, a 15-year US citizen, volunteered to serve in the U. S. Army and Army Reserve between 2001-2004. Her MOS was 73D Finance and Accounting Specialist. Dora has Bachelor's Degrees in Economics from Szechenyi University in Hungary and Liberal Arts/Management Studies from Excelsior College. Prior to working at Waveband, she worked in various accounting and income tax preparation positions. Dora volunteers at her children’s schools and is the treasurer of her HOA. She enjoys kayaking, hiking and traveling with her family.
Lauren Steinacker – Warehouse Manager
Lauren is originally from NJ and now resides in Carroll County, MD. She attended East Stroudsburg University in PA, majored in Hotel/Restaurant Management and received her Bachelor of Science degree. She began her career in the hotel/hospitality business with Hilton Hotels where she worked for 9 years in various positions including Sales, Accounting and Human Resources. In 2007 Lauren chose to be a stay at home mom to focus on raising her children. She has been with Waveband Communications for two years. Lauren enjoys watching her kids play sports, attends their events and volunteers in the Carroll County school system.
Taylor Thomas – Marketing Specialist
Taylor Thomas is from Mount Airy, MD. After graduating from Salisbury University with a B.S. in marketing Taylor completed a marketing internship with TSL Marketing. Her time at TSL was spent redesigning blogs and various pages on the company’s website as well as social media planning. Following her tenure with TSL, she worked in the marketing department for PB Dye Golf Club. Here she designed content for their social media accounts and promoted various events. Taylor has received numerous marketing certifications through the HubSpot Academy, with concentrations in content creation, CRM software and inbound marketing. In her free time, Taylor enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with close friends.
