What happens if I can€™t hear out of my earpiece?
Most likely, the surveillance kit is not defective. There may be moisture in the acoustic tube causing the transmission to not be heard or heard at a lower volume than before. We suggest cleaning out the removable acoustic tube and trying again. We have a great guide on how to clean your acoustic tube here.
What is the warranty period for surveillance kits?
Warranty for Waveband surveillance kits is 1 year from the date of purchase. This covers any manufacturing defects and workmanship. These defects can include the push to talk button being stuck and earpiece not transmitting or receiving. This warranty does not cover physical damage or abuse.
How long should I wait to replace my acoustic tube? Is it removable?
Due to hygiene factors, earwax, and moisture, acoustic tubes should be replaced every 3-6 months. The acoustic tubes are easily removable from the surveillance kit, allowing for easy replacement. We offer acoustic tube replacements, which you can find here.

Good product and fast delivery. I ordered the wrong type of earpiece so I sent it back and recieved a refund quickly.
I initially purchased this kit approximately 3 years ago and was very rough on it between patrol and some tactical operations. I have never had any issues with the actual surveillance kit, only the acoustic tube which had a moisture build-up a few times. This kit works great and is very reliable. I had a minor issue with my most recent one but due to the company's superior customer service, the replacement process was hassle free! Great products!
I ordered this headset because at our agency we have the simple large lapel mics. I did not want to wear one of those, as they are loud and offer no privacy. To be honest, I was not sure what to think when I ordered this. I paid my own money for it and it did not come cheaply (considering you can get wired headsets for phones on Amazon for less than $5). I now believe this was a worthwhile purchase. Looking at this headset, it seems to be made of good quality. The quick connect has quality pins and the screw rotates easily. The length is good. At 5'8" I can wear my radio on my belt on my left hip and route the cord to my right ear and then the mic under my right armpit and on to my shirt by my polo buttons. It is nice that each the earpiece and the mic have separate cords and a few sliders to keep the cord together.

To return your product, you should mail your product to Waveband Communications INC, 1912 Liberty Road Unit 14, Eldersburg MD 21784, United States.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
